Young Research Scientist Award 2013

Following the success of the Young Research Scientist Award in 2012, we are delighted to announce that the award will once again be offered to an outstanding young scientist who is conducting original significant research in the urban environment related to the nature and/or remediation of urban pollution problems.
Applicants for this award should be no more than five years past receiving their doctoral degree and be employed professionally.
The award will support your travel to the conference together with your accommodation and registration.
To apply for this award, please submit an abstract of your work via the online abstract submission system. Please choose the option "Apply Young Scientist Award" from the category list to ensure that you are entered for the award.
The submission deadline for the Young Research Scientist Award is 15 July 2013. After this date the Conference Chairman will choose a shortlist who will be requested to send further information including a CV and additional application information.
Young Research Scientist Award Winners 2012
We had an excellent response to our Young Research Scientific Award for the UEP conference in 2012. Since the quality was so high we decided to offer two places. The winners of the Awards are:
